'A Fluorescent Pineapple'

"It did come out nicely"

I enjoyed the art style, your selection of music, and the use of colors was inviting. Very good composition. And the story was enjoyable, too.

While the animation's a bit rough, it's got a lot going for it.

For one thing, you at least put some effort into it. No lame stick figures or crazy gore effects. And the story, though short, is it's own concept. It looks like you're still getting the hang of the program. Keep it up. You've got the right idea. :)

You're an inspiration, as always, Adam. Been a fan since a friend of mine introduced me to Littlefoot some three years ago. Great execution (hell, it IS in Flash), love the backstory, and the development of even more unique characters. I'm definitely curious to find out who that was at the end there. :)

Looking forward to the next installment.

I gotta be honest, when I first tried this game, it freaked me out a bit. The haunting soundtrack, the drastically distorted voice, the story... And that face constantly talking to you. It was a bit unsettling, to say the least.

Then, there's the "Enter the Unknown" option. When you consider that the difficulty of the game is reflected SOLELY on community interaction - from creating the maps to voting which ones should enter the mix in what order - this game has become more than just a little mind trip. It's become a community experience - something that I definitely found missing when I tried this out on the Kongregate servers.

All told, creepy or not, you have made a geniously brilliant game here. Well done! 5 stars, 10/10, and added to Favorites. I hope your next one will be every bit as unique.

I hate to crap all over this game, but it feels like Silver Surfer on the NES. One hit, everything kills you - EVERYTHING!? The save Eggs are an interesting concept, but really the overall difficulty makes the game unenjoyable instead of challenging.

In the end, though, I don't like it. I will give you points on a workable game, and the rhythm style you used for the game's pacing. But even that feels a little cheap, as it becomes more of an unenjoyable game of Memory, with no REAL challenge.

Exmortis 3

"A sellout? F*** that noise!"

submission: Exmortis 3

First off! Ben, I'm glad to see a new chapter in the series finally roll around. The first game was so claustrophobic and unsettling. The second even more so, but you gave the player a means to face the threat of the horde. And I have anticipated this new chapter for some time. I can't believe I'm getting around to it so late.

Second, this was a very good game. Picks up where the second one ended off, and your character is even more powerful in his mission. I've enjoyed the development of the character as the series moves along. Great graphics, nice use of music and sound effects. Load time was a bit staggering for me, but whatever. A minor setback, and it only built the suspense more. :)

Finally, to those of you whining and complaining about this guy 'selling out' - or bitching because it's a 'DEMO' - nice way to pay tribute to a great series, you losers. Three years of work on a project (and it shows), and all he wants is to see something in return for the time invested. If I were in his position, I'd do the same thing. A pat on the back doesn't pay the bills. And so what if it's a demo? I've seen other demos on Newgrounds.

Hell, I enjoyed the demo, so I just shelled out the $19 for the full version. Excellent work, Ben. I for one appreciate the effort you've put into this series.

Xtreme 5 Min Shootemup

"Awesome game"

date: August 31, 2009

First of all, I am a big fan of shooter games. What you've made here is easily on par with titles like Raiden or the 19xx series.

The graphics were nice, the game was definitely very colorful. I liked several of the effects that you used - particularly the 'transition' into the second level - good work on the cloud effects there. And, of course, MaestroRage's skills in the audio department are always a treat to listen to. I definitely enjoyed the lack of any other sounds in the game - nothing to distract from the rest of the game.

Finally, all around it's enjoyable. Not too difficult, and you get more than a fair share of lives to last you through the five minutes. The medals are tricky to get, but that the point, isn't it? This game makes you work for them for a change.

Great game all around. 5/5, 10/10. Keep up the excellent work.

That was a great animation.

The story was very good, the animation was very good, and the song was definitely fitting to the whole message. Motivational and uplifting, to say the least. I hope to see more from you in the near future. Excellent job!

You've definitely earned the front page!

Definitely a game that makes you think. Starts off simple enough, then it throws you a bit of a curve ball as more challenges get added.

The music was a bit annoying after a while, but all in all, this was a good game. Kinda like Wario Ware's mini games on steroids.
