Very cool, and very VERY loopable. The second starting at 0:35 takes me straight back to my childhood days on the NES, and the rare chance I got to visit an arcade.

Kudos, man. That's all I can say. 5/5, added to favorites!

Very cool. I've seriously been looping version 2 of this song at my office for the better part of the day. This version sounds just as awesome, just without the 8bit nostalgia.

5/5! Added to favorites!

Axelay is very high on my list of favorite SNES games, and "Unkai" is a great song to boot. The original 16-bit version is a tune that I have (literally) heard looped for hours on end. On top of that, I have heard several remixes, from different artists, using completely different instruments. So, yeah, I'd say you nailed it. Every single note of it!

Are you planning on doing any of the others? I'd love to hear "Colony" or "Mother" given the 8-bit treatment.

One more thing! Hey, supernintendosp, if you want to hear a 16-bit version of this song, go to Youtube and look up the original version yourself. Dumbass!

Well, I haven't heard the hifi version, but as an 8-bit tune, this is amazing. This takes me way back. The echo effect is a nice touch, not too overpowering. Kudos!

isnt it great what you can do with simple triangle chips? :)

Nothing wrong with the size. "One" is not a short song. And as Imagenus said before me, you NAILED it!

I agree with ChaoticBrain...

Very, very catchy! And that segment from 1:44 onward really is the best part of the track. It really bridges the track together, and offers a very seamless loop. Great song, and it really set the mood for the quirky humor in Lucky Tower.

This one's going into my Favorites. 5/5, 10 stars. Great job. :)

Amazing song!

Listening to this, and comparing it to your other previous works, I have come to one conclusion. Pretty much every thing you touch turns to epic, doesn't it?

At first, I hear a dark haunting tune that takes me back to days of the Super Metroid soundtrack. Then, just when I think it's a cover song - you did the soundtrack for K.O.L.M. after all - it switches gears and jumps into a different direction with some distinctly metal synth and guitar strings. As the piano weaves its way into the notes, the song seems to take on an organic tone, coming alive!

As the song continues, the drums pulse in the background, not unlike one's heart pounding in their ears after an adrenaline rush. All the while, the synth returns in full force, ebbing back and forth until it reaches its last breath, then silently fades away. The clock runs back to zero, and the flow of the notes sets me up once again. Definitely fitting for the narrative of an abandoned prison.

So yeah, I like this song!

Great rendition!

Not much else I can say, except that I love Ocarina of Time, and your remix of one of the catchier tunes in the game is brilliant! :)

Very, very catchy!

Somehow got this tune stuck in my head while I was asleep this morning. The song's been running over and over for the past three hours in my head. So, I had to stop by!

What else can I say? For such a short loop, it's very dynamic, and if you're not looking at the music player, it's hard to find the "loop point," giving one the satisfaction of an awesome, never-ending song. :)

Oh yeah, and this was perfect in Pilgrimage! 10 stars, 5 out of 5, and added to Favorites.

I love it!

This was mt favorite segment of the full track. Usually, I'm not a fan of techno-esque stuff, but I really enjoy your style. :)
